WHY SHOULD I VOLUNTEER? |
Volunteering Model
Youth for Seva has designed several volunteering models to enable individuals get involved in the community despite their time constraints. Volunteering is made easy as it caters to the individual’s interests and convenience w.r.t. time availability and location.
Weekend volunteering: Spare a few hours on weekends. This is ideal for professionals and college students. Weekday volunteering: Give few hours for 2-3 days during the week. This is most suitable for housewives and retirees. One Time Events: These are volunteering opportunities to contribute your time for seva in particular events Virtual volunteering: People with special skills like creative writing, movie making, website creation, graphics design, etc. can help YFS and other NGOs with backend tasks such as creating websites, newsletters, grant proposals and project reports. | Seva Volunteering: This is a volunteering model for college students to volunteer every day for 1 month or more during their semester breaks. College students who wish to learn more about the social sector can benefit from this model. YFS will provide certificates after the intern completes the project. Interns can also volunteer every day for 6 months after graduation to gain a deeper understanding of the social sector and contribute significantly. This is suitable for those looking for a job or looking for a career change. YFS will reimburse all reasonable expenses incurred during this time. Volunteering Professional Services: One can offer professional skills to serve community’s needs. ‘Doctors for Seva’ is one such initiative of YFS. Similarly auditors, lawyers, writers or any other professionals can offer their professional services |

हमारे स्वयसं ेवक राकेश नगपरुे, जि नका मलू नि वास बालाघाट हैं, मध्य प्रदेश की लोक सेवा आयोग परीक्षा की तयै ारी करने हेतुइंदौर मैंनि वासरत हैं। हमारा सपं र्क राकेश से एक हमारे अन्य स्वयसं ेवक के माध्यम से एक चर्चा के दौरान हुआ। जब हम ने YFS समाज के लि ए कैसे स्वयसं ेवकों के माध्यम से कार्य करता है, उन्हे वि स्तार से बताया तो उन्होंने हमारे शि क्षा वाले प्रकल्प में रुचि दि खाई। हमने सबसे पहले उन्हे अपने NMMS परीक्षा के लि ए मेंटल एबि लि टी पढ़ने के लि ए एक स्कूल में भेजना शरूु कि या परंतुइस वि षय ने पर्या प्त जानकारी के अभाव के कारण वह बच्चों को उतने अच्छे से समझने में असमर्थ रहें, इसलि ए हमने अपने लर्निं गर्निं सटें र ने उन्हें साप्ताहि क आने के लि ए आग्रह कि या, उन्होंने बच्चों को गीत एवं इति हास के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान की। हमारा स्वास्थ का प्रकल्प शरूु होते ही हमने उन्हें उसकी जानकारी दी, जि ससे बहुत खशु हुए और आज वो हमारे नए स्वयसं ेवकों को भी क्लास रूम में ले जाकर प्रशि क्षण देते हैंएवम उन्होंने अपने 3 अन्य साथि यों को हमारे साथ जोड़ा हैं। आज हम उनके communication में बहुत फर्क महससू करते हैंएवं वो खदु भी अब बहुत कॉन्फि डेंट हैंकि जब वो अपने एग्जाम का इंटरव्यूदेंगे तो उन्हें अपने इस अनभु व का बहुत फायदा मि लेगा
