About Vidya Chetana |
| A brainchild of Youth for Seva, Vidya Chetana is a scholarship program initiated in 2009. The goal of the initiative is to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds access education. Today, the program provides scholarships to students from financially challenged families who have completed 12th standard (PUC) and are enrolling in professional courses (Engineering, Medical), mainstream degree programs, or vocational training courses. Over the past few years, we have managed to support over 7,000 children in accessing educational opportunities across fields and sectors. We offer not only scholarships but also support students holistically with multiple training modules that help their overall growth. |

Vidya Chetana, Youth for Seva Bengaluru, organized an "Exposure Visit" and "Cleanliness Day" at Champakadhama Temple, Bannerghatta, Bengaluru, with 32 VC Scholars from Bengaluru participated. During the visit, the temple priest from Padmavati Temple shared insights about Champakadhama's Heritage & History. Our VC core team scholars conducted 05 engaging activities, and CHIGURU volunteering certificates & goodies were distributed to CHIGURU VC Scholars. The event concluded with a cleaning activity at Champakadhama Gudda, promoting a sense of responsibility and community service among the participants. |
