Chapter: Noida

Overview 

Youth for Seva Noida is working since 2017. Motive of our organization, encourage youth to give their contribution in social work. Our organization is working in every sector in Noida, such as poor children whose parents are not able to teach them due to financial problems, our volunteers give them free education. Our organization distributes school kits to poor children in Noida for free. So that children have no problem in reading. Our organization is constantly engaged our volunteers to give seva and is making significant contribution to our society. In this Lockdown situation in our entire country, our volunteers are also giving their important contribution. Along with distributing food, they are also giving rasan to the needy people so that people can live their lives.

Public awareness program - For an environment friendly Diwali

On 13th November 2020, Youth For Seva Team Noida volunteers organized an awareness program at Sai Upvan Society, Noida. Current pandemic has majorly affected the local small-scale vendors and daily labors in our country. We all know that due to the COVID crisis there are many such families may not be able to celebrate Diwali this year.

The purpose of doing this program was to aware and motivate more people to buy local products that can help local smallscale vendors and Diya makers. Also it helps us celebrate an environment friendly Diwali.

10 Youth for Seva volunteers along with 8 localities actively took part in this program.

Book distribution at different learning Centres, basti and Seva Kendra's

Youth For Seva's flagship event Give Paper Back collects used notebooks and from the unused sheets new notebooks would be made and distributed to underprivileged and needy students. This way do our little to save trees and reduce affect on environment.

Youth For Seva team Noida conducted multiple book distribution drive at different locations of the city to make sure children who are in need gets benefited by this. 

14th Jan : 5 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 90 children at to two centres namely 'Seva Group of India' and 'Future Point'.

17th Jan : 5 Volunteers distributed 80 notebooks at 2 Seva Kendra of 'Purvanchal Sewa Samiti Seva kendr'.

18th Jan: 3 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 40 children at 'Challengers ki pathshala Seva kendr'.

19th Jan: 4 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 150 children at 'Sai Educational Society Seva kendr'.

    Today, team YFS conducted 4th mental health session series. In today's session volunteers took a session on anxiety, emotions & ways by which children can handle these emotion. Volunteers received good response from the Children and they expressed today's session was more interesting than the previous one. 5 Volunteers took part in this activity supporting 25 students.

    Today, Youth for Seva in association with Atma Prakash Foundation conducted a Mental Health Awareness session to the children of Learning Centre.

    This session was different from our previous two Saturday sessions. The session mainly focused on adolescent students of age 14 & above. 

    It was a good interactive session with 20 children and 5 volunteers. We explained about stress & 10 ways to relieve stress.

    On 14th of Feb, Youth for Seva Noida volunteers distributed notebooks to the 50 children of Karthikeya Vidya Kendra. These notebooks were created from the unused sheets of used books under Give Paper Back Project

    Along with this, our volunteers oriented the children a short orientat about the Navoudit. 6 volunteers took part in this activity and the children were very happy to get the notebooks.

    On 10th Feb 2021, Youth for Seva Noida volunteers have conducted fun activities at Murti slum. Our volunteers enjoyed a lot with the children. Various activities such as singing, drawing competition were conducted. In addition to that, we also distributed notebooks to the children which were made through the 'Give Paper Back' Project. 5 volunteers took part in this activity supporting 25 children of the slum.

    Today, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers took second session on mental health for children at a Learning Center. It was a good interactive session and the children learn so many thing on how to manage emotion overcome limitations as we discussed on the topic emotions.

    We will be conducting these sessions every Saturday. 25 children were taught with the help of 5 volunteers.

    On the occasion of Republic Day, Youth for Seva Noida volunteers organized a celebration program in collaboration with Aman Welfare Society. We hoisted the Flag on 72nd  Republic Day. In which 8 of our volunteers took part.

    Today, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers took a session on mental health for children with Learning Center. It was a good interactive session with children.

    The children thoroughly enjoyed and were very happy during the session. 5volunteers took part in this program benefiting 30 children of the Learning Center.

    As they requested us to do more session on this topic, we will arrange such a good session for children every Saturday.

    Today, Youth for Seva Noida volunteers distributed blankets in association with 'Purvanchal Yuva Seva Samiti' Chairman Nirmal Kumar Ji.

    Over 100 needy people got benifited from this program and 5 of our volunteers helped with distribution.

    Youth For Seva initiative Narayana Patra/Jeevika Patra is program where we identify volunteer donors who will collect fistful of rice everyday and once the container is full we will donate it to underprivilege or needy.

    On 17 Jan, 8 volunteers of Youth for Seva Noida collected groceries from 20 families under Jeevika Patra program and distributed it to 5 needy families.

    On the occasion of National Youth Day. volunteers of Youth for Seva Noida team distributed 200 notebooks to 50 children at Learning Center.  Volunteers also tough some interesting facts about Swami Vivekananda ji to the children. 

    Some children also narrated stories of Swamiji. 5 of our volunteers participated in this program.  The distributed notebooks were made from the drive 'Give paper back project' - supported by ONGC foundation.
