“ದೋಣಿ ಸಾಗಲಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ ದೂರ ತೀರವ ಸೇರಲಿ ” ಎಂದು ಹಾಡು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆದು ಅನೇಕ ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದವು. ಈಗೇನಿದ್ರೂ “ದುಡ್ಡೇ ದೊಡಪ್ಪ”  ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಸಮಯದ ಪರಿವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದುಡಿಯುವುದೇ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಜೀವನ. ನಾವೊಬ್ಬರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ರೆ ಸಾಕು, ಬೇರೆಯವರು ಏನಾದ್ರೆ ನಮಗೇನು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಬದುಕುವ ಕಾಲವಿದು. ಅಂತಹದೇ ಒಂದು ಕಗ್ಗಂಟಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಒದ್ದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ನಮಗೆ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
