Celebrating the Spirit of Seva: A Day of Music, Fun and Togetherness-Cluster meet September 2026
Youth for Seva (YFS) believes that volunteering is not only about giving time and service to the community, but also about building meaningful connections along the way.
Our recent Cluster Get-Together at Clayworks, Jayanagar was a beautiful celebration of this spirit, bringing together 65 volunteers from across different clusters for an afternoon
filled with music, laughter, creativity, teamwork and connection.
When Music Brought Us Together
The gathering began on a joyful note with a lively jamming session led by Vaishnavi from Udupi.
Music created an instant sense of togetherness as volunteers joined in, sang along and enjoyed the rhythm. It was a wonderful reminder that sometimes, all it takes
is a song to bring people who may not have met before a little closer.
A Treasure Hunt That Put Our Minds to Work!
The fun took an exciting turn with a tricky and mind-bending Treasure Hunt conducted by Nagesh Mallikarjun ji.
The clues challenged volunteers to think differently, observe carefully, connect the dots and work together. Teams put their brains to work, exchanged ideas,
solved clues and raced towards the treasure – final word – VOLUNTEERS all while keeping the atmosphere filled with excitement and laughter!
The activity brought out another wonderful quality in our volunteers: their ability to combine the heart of Seva with the power of teamwork and smart thinking.
It was amazing to see our volunteers not just serve with their hearts, but also put their creativity, problem-solving skills and sharp minds to work!
Welcoming Chiguru
The gathering also provided an opportunity to introduce and launch Chiguru to our volunteers.
The introduction created excitement and curiosity around the upcoming event, with volunteers getting a glimpse of what lies ahead and how they can be part of it.
The enthusiasm and interest from the volunteers made the moment even more special.
Connecting Beyond Seva Activities
While the music, Treasure Hunt and other activities brought plenty of energy to the gathering, the heart of the event was the opportunity to connect beyond our regular
Seva activities. Volunteers from different clusters met one another, shared conversations, laughed together and created new memories.
These connections are an important part of the YFS journey. When volunteers know and support one another, the spirit of Seva becomes stronger
and the journey becomes more meaningful.
65 Volunteers, One Spirit of Seva
The Cluster Get-Together was more than just an afternoon of activities. It was a celebration of the people who make Seva possible, our incredible volunteers.
65 volunteers. Different clusters. Different experiences. One shared spirit of Seva.
From music and laughter to puzzles and problem-solving, every moment reflected the enthusiasm, camaraderie and energy that our volunteer community brings.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the gathering a memorable one.
Special appreciation to Vaishnavi from Udupi for leading the wonderful jamming session and to Nagesh Mallikarjun ji for designing and conducting a Treasure Hunt
that challenged, surprised and entertained our volunteers!
At Youth for Seva, we celebrate not only the difference our volunteers create in the community, but also the bonds they build with one another along the way.
Because when we come together for Seva,
we don’t just create an impactWe create connections, memories and smiles along the way.
Together, let’s continue to serve, connect, learn and grow.
