Community Impact

Recycling Paper. Building Futures.

Give Paper Back converts community generated paper waste into high-quality learning materials for under-resourced schools, while building a lasting culture of environmental responsibility among India’s youth.

Through community-based collection drives, the campaign channels reusable paper into notebooks that find their way into classrooms that need them most. Every sheet sorted, every notebook bound, is a small act of change with a lasting impact.

Our volunteer-led process takes paper from community hands to classrooms, every stage powered by people who care.

Our Objective

The “Give Paper Back” initiative, organized by Youth for Seva, is an impactful campaign centred around collecting unused pages from notebooks and recycling/binding them into brand-new notebooks. The primary objectives of this drive span educational, environmental, and social dimensions

Supporting Underserved Students by Providing Free Stationery

The core objective is to distribute these newly created, recycled notebooks to underserved students studying in government schools, rural areas, and tribal sectors. By giving out free notebooks, the drive minimizes the out-of-pocket educational expenses for economically disadvantaged families, helping reduce school dropout rates.

Environmental Sustainability & Resource Conservation Promoting Recycling

Instead of letting old, half-used notebooks go to waste or end up in landfills, the drive maximizes the utility of existing paper.
Saving Trees and Water :
Manufacturing new paper requires massive amounts of water and wood pulp. By recycling unused pages, the campaign significantly lowers the carbon footprint, conserves water, and saves trees.

Fostering a Culture of “Giving Back” and Volunteering Cultivating Empathy in Students

The drive encourages privileged school and college students to sort through their old books and donate blank pages, teaching them values of empathy, resourcefulness, and zero-waste living.
Community Engagement : It provides a platform for corporate employees, citizens, and youth volunteers to come together for collection drives, page sorting, and distribution camps, fostering a strong community spirit.
