The YFS health team was on a roll in November. Here are glimpses of the activities conducted in the month of November.
YFS polaris volunteers conducted an eye camp for all the students of Govt school, Hydernagar. 18 students were identified with problems and taken to local optician for further check up.
Spectacles were distributed to 66 people who were identified with eye problems in a screening camp held before, in Devarkadra of Palamur district. Report here
An ice-breaking session was also conducted for 400+ girls of ZPHS, Devarkadra as part of the adolescent girls’ health initiatives program.

Experiences of two volunteers
It was really a wonderful experience.At the end of day I felt satisfied and happy, As I had worked for some good cause apart from that all the team members are very supportive and zealous . Even in near future I would like to be a part of such kind of projects. My sincere thanks to YFS which gives me such a good platform to serve the needful children.
Last weekend I worked as an volunteer for ‘Eye screening’ campaign conducted at Miyapur Govt. school, Hyderabad.Its my first great satisfactory work and wish to contribute my services more. Thanks to YFS for giving a platform to service to society.-Surya, Polaris
