The zero waste initiative was flagged off at Bhuvaneshwari Nagar on the 16th January, 2011. This effort was entirely driven by the residents of the area. Namaste, Youth for seva volunteers from Yakutpura, spent time at ‘Karunya sindhu’ on the day of sankranthi festival. All the volunteers interacted with the boys explaining them why we celebrate sankranthi , and its importance. All the boys felt happy on our arrival.
