Inspiration: Dr. H Sudarshan

Dr. Sudarshan was born on 30th December, 1950 near Bangalore. He finished his degree in medicine from Bangalore Medical College. He was later bestowed with Adjunct Professorship at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and is an Hon. Fellow of the Association of Rural Surgeons of India (ARSI).

On the 21st September, 2007, high school and college students who enrolled for the ‘English speaking’ course at Goudanapalya near Padmanabhanagar, came under the YFS umbrella.

On the 29th September, more than 50 students from 2nd year B.Com, BHS College (Jayanagar) visited ‘Asha Kirana Nele’ on Bannerghatta Road. The experience can be aptly described by simply calling it – wonderful! The students were strongly encouraged by their English lecturer Smt.Kavita Shastry, to make the visit.

The English classes started by YFS at Seshadripuram have been progressing steadily over the last few months. There are quite a few students who regularly attend the classes and the response from them has been very encouraging.

Youth For Seva conducted an orientation program for student volunteers in Malleswaram Maharani Lakshmi Ammani College premises on 12th September 2007. There was an overwhelming response to the call for volunteering. Eighty-four girls registered for the program, which was organized in collaboration with the NSS chapter of the college.

Organization  Samskrita-Bharati 8th Cross, Girinagar 2nd phase, Bangalore -85  Project  Conduct Sanskrit conversation classes to empower people to better understand their cultural roots.
